Mr. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, is an inspiring leader in Congress from historical district of Nalgonda. He is a tech-savvy engineering graduate, who providentially, is also interested in sports. He is one of the few MLAs who have registered a hat-trick victory in state politics. Mr. Reddy has won from Nalgonda in the general elections held in 1999, 2004 and 2009 consecutively by defeating the Left party candidates.

In the current government, Mr. Venkat Reddy is poised to play vital role as minister to handle the ministries of IT, Youth Services and Sports. He not only won the third consecutive time, but also played major role in poll campaigning and promotion of congress in the entire Nalgonda district that too minimizing the majority of CPI and CPM parties in this region.

Mr. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy always firmly advocates the upliftment of poorer sectors for effective poverty alleviation, social justice, quicker addressal of public grievances, mainstreaming the downtrodden people, improving the social standards in the weaker sections of society and offering the fruits of progress to all sections of society without any caste, creed, religion and gender discrimination.
